Trade fair starts sales process one month ago 65% of stands for Exponor Chile 2013 have been reserved
One month since the stand reservation process for Exponor Chile 2013 started, 65% of the stands have been reserved, showing the great level of interest among suppliers and big companies throughout the world to be part of this mining industry exhibition, an event organized by the Association of Industries of Antofagasta, AIA, and which will take place between the 17th and 21st of June, 2013, in Antofagasta.
According to the Expomanager, Andrea Moreno, this high reservation rate, “is a clear demonstration of the importance of Exponor Chile for the mining industry, since this is the only event of its type that will take place at the site of some of the biggest copper, iodine, lithium, nitrate, molybdenum, and gold mines in the world”.
Without doubt, for the organizers, it is this aspect of Exponor which attracts companies from different countries, who have already demonstrated their interest in being present at this fair which will be the main mining event to take place in Chile. Moreno said that “delegations from the United States, Canada, Australia, China, Finland, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, France, and Peru, have already shown their intention to be present, reaffirming that Exponor Chile is part of the circuit of the five most important trade fairs of this type in the world”.
In terms of growth at this latest version of Exponor, Andrea Moreno explained that a 20 percent increase is anticipated, the typical growth level seen at Exponor in recent years, with 1,000 exhibitors from 30 countries therefore expected.
Exponor Chile is a trade fair characterized by having a varied program of activities aimed at promoting opportunities for new business and commercial exchange. Among these various activities, some that stand out are: the business meeting rounds; technical visits to the fair from mining company executives who have the opportunity to find out about new products and technologies; and technology tours to the mine sites which can be taken by the exhibitors so they can learn about the on-site requirements of the industry.
