The show at the heart of the mining industry: Exponor 2019 confirms participation of technical delegations from large companies for two days of the exhibition
For the four days of the exhibition, the most important mining event of 2019 will welcome workers from the major mining, energy and industrial firms aiming to detect products and services that address their operational challenges. The organizers have confirmed that this opportunity will also be open to small, medium and large suppliers. With the aim of enabling direct contact between exhibitors and potential clients and highlighting the geographic location that sets it apart as the only show to take place at the heart of the mining industry, Exponor 2019 has confirmed the participation of technical delegations from the top mining and industrial companies with a presence in the Region of Antofagasta during the exhibition. Albemarle; Lomas Bayas; Altonorte; Codelco and its Chuquicamata, Gabriela Mistral, Ministro Hales and Radomiro Tomic divisions; Centinela; BHP through Escondida and Spence; El Abra; Sierra Gorda; SQM and Yamana Gold are the major companies that have confirmed the presence of technical delegations of personnel (executives, professionals, technicians and operators), all with the aim of getting to know innovations and new technologies that translate into possible solutions to operational challenges. On behalf of the Antofagasta Industrial Association, the organizer of the event, its president Marko Razmilic explained that "today the industry faces many operational challenges, and Exponor 2019 has positioned itself as an exceptional platform to find solutions, thanks to the large number of companies that will join the event with their new technologies and innovations. With this in mind, we invite mining companies to make their staff part of the exhibition: they know the products and services they need to optimize productivity onsite". On this subject, the General Manager of minera El Abra, Boris Medina, explained that Exponor 2019 "represents an excellent chance to improve relationships with other companies in the sector and strategic suppliers, as well as exploring new technologies that may contribute to improving the performance and competitiveness of our business (…) workers from different areas of our company will have the opportunity to visit this important mining show". Opportunity for suppliers Technical delegations are one of the key activities for Exponor 2019, given the show's proximity to the top mining operations in the country; however, this opportunity is open not just to mining companies, but also to all kinds of suppliers, whether small, medium or large. This is shown in the participation of Engie from the energy sector, and Puerto Angamos from industry. Registration, which is also open to companies that are not exhibiting and is free of charge, will give participating companies the chance to visit the show freely over the four days of the exhibition and take advantage of this event that brings the international industry together in Antofagasta.
